The Egham Show was founded in 1857 to encourage the local farmers and their labourers in their work. Life has changed dramatically in Egham since that date and so has the show.Once again we have Dr David Bellamy with us on both days to talk about local environmental issues and to discuss them ith you; we also have Mr Tony Hart to enterain the younger visitors on Sunday. Both these guests return by popular demand.
This year for the first time, we will have Cattle Competition on both days and our Entertainments programme in the main ring is centred on countryside activities. The programme above will give you the details. If you have not yet seen Ye Olde Red Tail Falconry Display you must come to the Show - it is an exhibition not to be missed.
We also have all the attractions you would expect to see in an agricultural show - horse events, dog show (on Sunday), sheep, pigs, rabbits and poultry, floral displays, horticultural competitions, traction engines, vintage cars, a craft and hobbies tent, many trade stands and even a fair.
The Show is open on both days from 9.00am to 6.00pm and is great fun for all the family. Car parking is free so come and see for yourselves what great value Egham Royal Show has to offer
