By road The town is on the A30, about 18 miles from central London. It is just off junction 13 of the M25 (London Orbital).

By train There are frequent services from London Waterloo to Egham (30 minutes); Woking to Egham (25 minutes); Reading to Egham (40 minutes). Weekend, especially Sunday, services are less frequent than on weekdays.

By bus London Country buses 441 and 443 (Staines to Slough).

By plane Taxis are available from Heathrow airport (7 miles away) but can be expensive. It is advisable to check the fare in advance. Alternatively take London Country bus 436 to Staines, then change to 441 or 443; or go by tube to Richmond and then take a train to Egham.
