Good Weather ˆ Good Entertainment ˆ Lots of Stalls all helped to make Magna Carta Day a success on Saturday 12th June.
We were pleased to see the return of The Great Ricardo along with other professional entertainers. Some excellent local talent was also on display.
Magna Carta Day is
organised by Egham Residents' Association and Egham
Chamber of Commerce, the aims are, to celebrate the historic
event of the sealing of the Magna Carta, to promote Egham and to foster its
community spirit.
Magna Carta Day consisists of community and commercial stalls, demonstrations
by local organisations and a programme of street entertainment.
This year sees the return of some old favourites such as The Great Ricardo
and The Chobham St.Lawrence Morris Men as well as new attractions including
the Amersham Garland Dancers.
